My name is Steph Macleod. I’m a singer-songwriter from Scotland. I have a passion for people, for God, and for hope; I try to bring them closer together by sharing my experiences through songs and music.
New EP ‘O PERFECT FATHER’
Steph Macleod‘s new release is a meditative and soulful collection of hymns for our times – both in terms of the current circumstances and as a new wave of liturgical worship. The profound lyrics and soft and peaceful melodies built around the piano and guitar are topped by Steph’s warm and powerful voice that brings each song to life for the listener.
‘O Perfect Father’ features collaborations with singer-songwriter Lucy Grimble, who is an inherent part of the UK worship ecosystem and US musician and songwriter Sandra McCracken. Steph Macleod‘s music is rooted in the rough and raw experiences that led him to Christ; from broken family relationships to homelessness and addiction, the artist embodies the reality of God’s redemptive and boundless love and beautifully shows it through ‘O Perfect Father’.

My boy is home! Hard to believe 6 days ago we nearly lost him after a horrible accident at work. We are SO grateful! James gave me permission to share these photos so that I could thank everyone for their prayers and messages. We were unable to visit him due to lockdown restrictions on the critical ward. We also want to thank our incredible @nhs for looking after him. The staff said they’ve never seen anyone recover this quickly from such serious injuries! James said it must have been all the prayer... Amen!! My wife and I felt so much peace through it all. We are so grateful! He’s banged up pretty bad and recovery is going to be a long road, but we are SO SO grateful! He’s smiling, on a liquid diet, and wearing the finest set of NHS jammies! Thank you God for your faithfulness, and thankyou brothers and sisters for praying! God is good, and we are SO grateful ❤️🙌🏻

SOLD OUT! Hey folks, I currently have no more physical CDs of my album GOLD available for purchase. I wont have them in stock again until the world opens for live music and I can work. It's been 2 years since the album release and I still get emails and messages: people opening up about mental health for the first time; sharing how they identify with songs through their own journey; letters from prisoners and people in recovery; videos of families singing in the car.
